Clint grew up on a family farm in Colorado, which initiated a life-long interest in genetic improvement – the backbone of his career to this point.  Not only has this been the core of his career path, but Clint has been involved in livestock exhibition and judging programs ever since. Clint participated on the livestock judging teams at Northeastern Junior College and Colorado State University where he was named as an All-American in his final year of competition.  Following his undergraduate degree in Animal Science, he then moved on to Iowa State University to pursue a Masters and Doctorate degree in Animal Breeding and Genetics.  In conjunction with his graduate education at ISU, Clint coached the Livestock Judging Team and served as an instructor and academic advisor for 5 years.

Clint’s professional career started with a role as Director of Genetic Programs at the National Swine Registry before being promoted to CEO in 2012. Following his time at the NSR, Clint spent a decade at The Maschhoffs as the Vice President of Science and Technology and completed his MBA through the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.  In his current role, Clint serves as the Vice President of Technology and Customer Success, where he has strategic and management oversight for company’s global innovation and customer delivery functions for AcuFast, the swine genetics business unit of STgenetics.

Clint has been awarded the Outstanding Early Career Agribusiness Award by the American Association of Animal Science as well as served on several industry boards and committees throughout his career.  He’s had the opportunity to judge many of the major livestock shows across the country.

Clint currently lives on a small acreage in Magnolia, Texas with his wife, Jill, three children, and two dogs.  Outside of kid sporting activities, he enjoys sports, fishing, woodworking and tackling home improvement projects.
