Kandy Schminke

Kandi is co-owner of Schminke Genetics with her husband Al, which sells club lambs and seedstock throughout the United States. Their flock consists of 230 head of elite club lamb producing ewes. They are also the third generation in the swine industry and run a Chester White operation, which has bred many National Champions and record-selling pigs. Schminke Genetics is also involved in crop production on their 500-acre farm. An important part of their operation is their son Cody and his wife Taylor and their daughter, Chelsea, and her husband Paul and their grandchildren.

Kandi earned her degree in Agricultural Business from Hawkeye Community College and was part of an award-winning Collegiate livestock judging team there.
